I mean, technically it can be replaced, but it's a soldered LED, it's not just something you will be able to buy a drop in replacement for. As for how bright it is, see the link from Tg147

bright enough that i can't look directly at it. <— that's my very unscientific method for determining if it's bright enough for me.

  • Nice thought but I bet they have very few. Battery is not replaceable right - ie you throw it away when the battery fails? Looking for something half decent for the wife and she detests built in obsolescence.

Edit: PLUS freight $7.95. Needs to be in title.

got the free one from the giveaway back in August. very impressed with this little light. not quite as bright as my Nitecore Tini on full brightness (but not turbo mode) but what i really like is the charging port is more protected and is sealed by an o-ring. Olight also include a little micro usb which is capped at both ends, and the packaging is refreshingly different from those of other budget torches so good for gift-giving for people who don't necessarily have a stash of cables.

  • Sold out in 1 hour :(

    • I think they sold out in about 45 minutes or something
