Price compete with Aldi next week's special buy.
I believe RRP $55 but not sure (Model PXRSS-400).

Stick a Diablo blade on this and it ain't too bad. However it does get hot and I've even had smoke coming out of it when trying to cut through thick branches.
I haven't had any smoke, but then I haven't used it on branches much, but plenty of treated pine, MDF and metals.
I killed one continuing to cut when the smoke started. I'll be taking it a bit easier on the replacement. I was 50% through the 2nd 4Ah battery and the saw was pretty hot, probably exceeded it's duty cycle.
These are good for living trees

I purchased 2 Diablo carbide blades with it, blades are already more expensive then the tool itself!
… Which I’m ok with, that’s why I go with Ozito, so it’s way easier to justify quality blades.
their actual pruning saw https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-pruning-saw-skin-o… works quite well…
edit: I picked it up on clearance tag, so was worth the money
for some reason I can't view the link, I'm directed to the home page. I've noticed this for a few of the ozito PXC tools.
I'm in NSW, anyone else also encountering the issue?
Yea, link is dead.
Bunnings must have removed it as they're clearing it out.
Has to be region dependent as it works for me
It happens when Bunnings delist product whether temporarily or permanently.
If it’s temporarily, the URL will be active again when they have stock available.
They're normally about $100. What did you pay?
Think about 35 or 45, but was for the kit, slow charger and 1.5 ah battery
Wow! How can I ever pay full price knowing that. ;)
Agree, it's a great tool. The V clamp makes all the difference plus it's light so you can use with one hand use and the other hand for balance or to hold the whatever you are cutting. Take off the clamp and it becomes a mini reciprocating saw. Got the kit for a similar price.
Wasn't any available for delivery for me yesterday when I checked. Disappointed.
Now available for delivery apparently, got an extra battery as well for $25
Dismantled a gazebo using one. No issues at all, I'm very happy with mine.
Do we know if this is nation wide?
As pointed out in the comments on this post the Aldi recip saw and multitool have brushless motors, so not really like for like but if only going to get occasional use and already in the PXC ecosystem I don't think there'd be enough difference to worry about (plus this is cheaper)
I just bought one last week for 55 :/
It's been good so far.
