Ozgameshop has a few of the newer Hori Split Pad Pro at under $72. Personally I was waiting for the black to come back in stock but it is limited.
I personally used player points from a previous purchase on Ozgameshop to reduce it by another $5.

Its been sent already but its fine. I only paid $66, the other ones are a novelty and based on US pricing, they will probably retail at $15-20 more here.
Sorry to be oblivious but can you use the controller without attaching to the screen i.e. like the joycons?
No, it has no internal battery so is only playable in hand-held mode. It also has no rumble or motion control. Its mainly for playing hand-held mode with more comfort.
