    I ported my number to Amaysim, however their system still recognised the number to be active at their end. Telstra sent me over $700 bill including ETC, and I was able to full bill waived after having a chat with them.

  • Yeah, I checked today also and the Telstra rep said nothing owing on the account. The account is closed.

      • You can still log in and contact them via telstra live chat on the app. Just give them the old account number and they will be able to find it.

              @trippyskippy: Same here, I also specifically referenced an early termination charge. They said the plan was a BYO plan so there are no more charges on the account. Got a reference number and screenshotted the convo.
