I've noticed in the reviews and comments (I actually ended up talking to one of the devs posting in the Steam forums) that there seems to be a bit of blowback and negativity from people who liked Rollcage. I personally never played Rollcage and I really enjoy GRIP I usually uninstall a game once I've played a fair bit but GRIP has always remained on my hard drive so I can just jump in and have an insanely fast race every now and then =D Hope you like it!
What's their problem? I played Rollcage as a youngster and think GRIP is a great successor.
Seems like people seem to think GRIP is simplified somehow? More arcade-like and less skill based apparently. Like I said I never played Rollcage so I've only got GRIP to go by and I love it. Certainly doesn't seem too easy either I would put it as harder than most other racing games I've played. Perhaps it's the loud minority as it does have majority positive reviews.
@TheGoodPart: I don't feel that at all. The harder tracks on GRIP are pretty brutal imo. Thanks for the reply.
