Wasn't it out of stock or the deal over?
i got the evo pro 500GB PLUSSALE did you try that?I already have a 500gb one for my OS. Needed a bigger one for games :)
It looks like it's still in stock for me. Maybe they restocked it?
Should be if it's coming up and the code works?
I was in the opposite position, already got a 1TB Cruicial P1, want to move the OS to a samsung and use the P1 for games.
Think it's a good deal for the 970 pro m.2 - (199-28$ cashback from samsung -$19.90 ebay code - $10 bonus shopback = $141 )
How do you figure this is 176?
Price is coming up as 278 for me, 250 with PLUSSAVE, FLASHSAVE does not work.
5% cashback on 250 gets it to 220 at best WITH CB, including the $10 bonus.
PLUSFLASH
I am stupid.
Even then, That's $222.
5% cashback gets to about $211
$10 bonus gets down to $200
Where's the extra 30?
samsung doing cashback, $46 on this drive.
Cashback from Samsung
It's $222 - $46 from the Samsung cashback deal atm on most of their ssds
@metalslaw: Thanks all - somehow I got the drive! Wish me luck with the cashback.
@runean: FYI, the invoice from Futu Online should show as K.S. COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY, which is one of the participating retailers in the samsung cashback promo.
@metalslaw: Excellent, thankyou for the heads up.
@metalslaw: Hey Metal, this might be really obvious, but where do I find my 'invoice' to take a picture of? I've never really used ebay much before. Thanks for any help!
@Lightnight212: At a guess, it's included with the drive when you receive it from aus post. (I've never done a cashback, but from what I've read of previous posts of this cashback, it's on the paper invoice).
@metalslaw: Ahhh okay! Awesome, thanks mate. I was looking everywhere thinking I couldn't find any invoice that I had been given! Cheers.
@metalslaw: Unless they do it differently now. From my experience, Futu only sends a soft copy invoice via email.
@FrugalNotStingy: Yep, already got the invoice soft copy via email. Uses the correct "Participating Resellers" title of "K.S. Computer Technology PTY LTD". Just waiting now on the drive.
From a previous thread,
"Make sure you type the serial number on the actual SSD and not the one on the box. I found that the box serial number has one character missing from the end."
From,
2TB comes out to $375 after cashback with 20% off code PLUSFLASH.
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/333378572780$375 is a great price for the 2TB. I grabbed one and can somebody drag me away from OzB?? Wallet is crying today!!
I hesitated and missed, kinda sad kinda glad💁♂️
I also umm and ahh for a few minutes before clicking the confirm and pay button as I already have a 2TB Evo. Thought I would use the new 2TB as a spare drive as I never saw a price this cheap. I’ve been also waiting for the 980 but I don’t like it’s only available in 1TB max at this stage.
@FrugalNotStingy: Same boat, bought a second 2TB 970 Evo plus as I can use both as storage on my 5 nvme slot motherboard, but looking forward to a 2TB version of the 980 Pro or (and some reviews on the 980 Pro have said this may be unlikely) a 980 Evo equivalent as an upgraded boot drive.
That being said while the PCIE 4.0 980 Pro is faster, it's not substantially faster than a PCIE 3.0 970 Evo Plus, and the average boot time or load time is not going to be very discernable. That is why reviewers are not sure if Samsung will do a 980 Evo but we will have to see.
$375 is a fantastic all time low price for a 2TB 970 Evo Plus though.
@hey aj: From the early benchmark of the 980 Pro, its performance is quite depressing but I will still get the 980 Pro when it becomes available and when the price is right (hopefully with Samsung cashback). I read that Samsung might release the 2TB variant at the end of this year but given the release date of the 980 Pro was delayed, it will most likely be pushed back for a few months too.
Surprisingly, the release price of the 980 Pro is much cheaper than anticipated, probably due to it being TLC rather than MLC. Not sure if it’s qualified to carry the Pro label as it has lower endurance than previously MLC Pro drives.
I don’t know what Samsung would have up their sleeves if they are really going to release an EVO version of the 980. I definitely hope they won’t make it a QLC drive, but if they are going to release it as a TLC drive, what would differentiate it from the Pro?
If I used Shopback for this purchase, the price would have gone down another $30 and that would make the drive less than $345 which is a complete bargain. However, having been one of the victims of their recent data breach, I stayed away.
It was out of stock then back. Ordered one, thanks!
49 left here https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/362393872817
Ps5?
this one is pcie3
Thanks :)
Now i wish it was out of stock when I bought it! Incredible deal.
thx. i missed all the deals today except this one.
How do you mark a deal as 'not out of stock'?
The seller is regularly adding stock, the classic 'ONLY A FEW LEFT' play.
That said, PLUSFLASH is over.
I'm a moron as I saw Computer Alliance ran out and didn't even realize these guys were Ebay plus. I was staring at this SSD on their exact page for 20 minutes and just had my head down when the chance was right in front of me. God I'm annoyed.
yeah for some reason ebay was not applying the PLUSFLASH on the product page so was hard to realise they are also plus. hopefully you will get some in amazon deals.
Yeah I'm looking around but god it's just hard to find something that competes with the read speed a 970 Evo Plus offers.
Nice! Was a little bummed I missed the other one but this one's even cheaper! Ordered. Thanks!
