Yeah the Tele says "Made in Mexico" on the black sticker on the pick guard
Any 'Player' series is also known as MIM - Made in Mexico.

The advantage of buying instore is that you can test it to see if you got a "good" version (years ago when I bought my MIN Strat, the idea was that MIMs were just lower quality made in USA strats, so you could potentially a "close to made in USA " quality Strat for MIM pricing.). Not sure if that's still a thing now…. But it could be said that quality could be exceptional and could also be poor (prob not, but just saying to make the point of varying quality).
Looks like it's only the Lake Placid Blue at this price
So can I play like him if I bought this? The song of the golden 🐉
Schwing! schwing, schwing….
These will 100% be made in mexico. Not that they're bad quality by any stretch.
