It's a shame that the 5g is the 6GB/128GB version and not the 8GB/256GB which they don't seem to have in stock.
8GB/256GB 5G Model is Samsung exclusive (Online and Store), even carriers won't have that version, so goodbye to discounting there.
Best way was to get it for $999 ($1246 RRP -$200 Bonus Trade in with any burner phone - $50 Marketing Coupon) along with the bundle Galaxy Buds Live worth at least $200 if you offload it on Gumtree/FB, so $800 is a pretty good price at launch along with free Samsung Care+ bundled for people who got the targeted coupons for free Care+

Samsung education store is selling the 8GB/256GB version (no earbuds) for $999.20. If you can get a hold of anyone with an education email…
Does this include free galaxy buds live?
Its not a pre-order, so wouldn’t include Galaxy Buds.
It does say pre-order 09-oct in the header.
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-S20-FE-5G-128GB-6…Better confirm with the seller then, whether they are included in this promotion.

Check terms ebay seller not included so no buds.
would the S20 FE be a worthy upgrade from a note9?
i think it's a no if your note 9 is still working fine. If your note 9 is not working probably, giving you a hard day every day then why not.
There will be a big difference in performance. Also battery performance.
I've had S7, Note FE (7), Note 8, Note 9, S20+, and considering to switch to FE (from another phone with SD865 chipset).
Exynos is truly a POS, and I think Samsung has a winner here with the decision to go with the SD865.
No wonder they call is a Fan Edition, they have heard us!
4g is exynos, stay away
