Gaming PC System Deals Have Dried up?

It seems that no good gaming system / PC build deals are coming up recently whereas last month it was just packed. I wonder why this is so and why the usual players like Techfast etc are not advertising more gaming pc bundles. I would have thought they’d be trying to rid themselves of the older CPU/GPU etc in anticipation of ew ones.

Reason is I’m looking for a new system and was wondering where would be the best place to get one. Doesn’t have to be the cheapest like techfast but should have good reputation and using genuine parts.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

  • My thoughts would be around the new Nvidia GPU's enroute and re-tooling accordingly? Also as a result there has prob. been on a run on hardware as a result.
Pure speculation and it could just be a timing thing :/

    • +1

i agree there are new GPU's out from Nvidia already and AMD has big navi coming soon
i think system builders are selling off old stock and waiting for new stuff to build systems with

  • Centre com, Scorptec Computers & PC Case Gear have gaming PCs ready to ship or choose your own parts for them to do a custom build.

  • Gaming PC System Deals Have Dried up?

Of course it has, If it is wet then it would get water damage and that's no good

    • Well if you had to dry it up in the first place it's probably already water damaged

      • -2

But if you wait too long to dry it up then it’s worse and gets corroded, if it gets dried up quickly without being plugged in it may not be shorted out and work.

  • back then, everyone was afraid that their gpus were going to become worthless. just ended up being worth less.

  • What is the cheapest option for a PC that will support Oculus Link?

  • thanks all. I'm not looking for the greatest..just looking for a build having ryzen 5 3600 and a 2060 super with a 500 gb or 1 tb hard drive. Will only be paying cs:go and rocket league for starters. Thats why I was wondering why the bundles for the old stock are not being advertised more.

    • you won't need anything close to a 2060 Super for those games, you can save several hundred going for 10 series low-mid range.

      • Thanks for the advice. Always keen on saving $$$.. might go for a 1660 based on the advice

        • I DFO CS go rust etc off a 7950, you will be fine with most things for exports titles

  • It's actually better priced now with components prices going down if you build your own. The PC we built in July is way cheaper now.
