$39 if you have 2 of the games they want, could be good way to try to save a bit
I've done similar deals in the past for other games and felt like the deal wasn't too bad

Well the PS4 version comes with an upgrade to the PS5 version and there will be an in game upgrade option to purchase Spider-Man Remastered though unsure on price but it will probably be a cheaper option to get the regular edition at a cheaper price and just purchase Spider-Man Remastered instead of getting the UE. Details mentioned here
Guess that'll inherently come out cheaper either way, cheers :)
free upgrade so can be cheaper if you find some cheap games
Currently available for $94.95.
So, 94.95-39/2= $27.97 per trade in. Seems a little low to me, but to be honest I have never traded in a game at EB.
How much on average do they give for trade in on a PS4 game?
Does anyone know the full list of accepted games? Hoping there may be a potential hack where you can buy a couple of pre-owned games for cheap and trade them back in at $27.97 worth of value.
work off the assumption that pre owned price on their website, you get about 40% for the trade value.
IE. If anything is priced pre owned $28 or over, it should trade in for over $10.
Need to put pre order in header
Honestly don't know how they're justifying the price when it comes to this when it's glorified DLC in the same vein as Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Yeah, I agree 100% way too much for an expansion that's reportedly half as long as the original game.
At least Lost Legacy wasn't a full-priced game, from memory it was $40 - $50 on launch.
And came with a code for the game That's You as well, and if you preordered like I did, you got a code for Jak and Daxter on PS4 too which was dope.
And even further more, it was included in original season pass for Uncharted 4.
They were offering the same sort of deal for the new Crash bandicoot game and when I asked in store for the list she couldn't give me a trade-in list and said one wasn't available on the website either.
She said you had to bring in a few games and they would tell me what they were worth for trade-in in the store.
I lost interest pretty quickly!
I suspect it is to stop the "buying a couple of cheap pre-owned games" trick as mentioned above that has been done in the past where they then end up with hundreds of that same cheap title.
Thanks for the heads up.
“Please see in store for list”
Wish they’d just tell us which games they’d like us to trade in…
The 2 games need to have a trade-in value of more than $10 each.
The ones I know that have a trade-in value more than $10 are:
- Sine Mora EX Switch $10
- Shadow of The Tomb Raider PS4 $11.xx
- Batman Arkham Knight Xbone/PS4 $10
- The Lost Child PS4 $10
- Lost Sphear PS4 $11.xx
- State of Decay 2 $12.xx
- Call of Duty WWII Xbone $16, PS4 $14.xx
- Far Cry 3 classic Edition Xbone/PS4 $16
- Marvel's Spiderman PS4 $10
- Unravel: Yarny Bundle $14.xx
- Assassins Creed Chronicles PS4/Xbone $12
- Remnant From The Ashes $17.xx
- Wolfenstein Young Blood $16
- Overwatch PS4 $10
- Tales of Vesperia PS4 $18
Thanks for this list!
Will stores in Victoria do these trade in deals through click and collect?
Shame they aren't doing anything similar for the PS5 UE :(
