I've been looking for a special deal on the Mavic Mini for a while now but couldn't find any. This seems to be a decent price for a ex-demo. Flymore combo (ex-demo) is $749:

Why Mavic Mini?

The Mavic Mini is currently one of the very few drones in its class to have a 30 minute flight time along with a 3-axis gimbal and a 12 MP camera. The image quality on the Mavic Mini is on par with some of it's bigger siblings such as the Mavic Pro and the Mavic Air. The Mavic Mini improves upon the DJI Spark and the DJI Mavic Air with a 30 minute flight time and a transmission range of up to 4 km (FCC mode). The all new application, DJI FLY, makes flying the Mavic Mini significantly easier than before with intuitive controls, large transmission screen and a lag free experience.

The Mavic Mini is one the best beginner drones on the market that provide everything you would expect from a more expensive drone. You have GPS, which allows for RTH (Return To Home) along with quickshots, auto-take off/landing and more. The Mini allows manual control over the camera settings in both photos and videos, giving you greater creative control. The Mini also has downward vision sensors to ensure a sturdy and stable flight. Each to their own but I have seen sale prices close to that of a brand new drone. Not sure I would want ex demo

    • Unfortunately I can’t find any at that price now. Nothing wrong with ex demo of it has full warranty.

      • 549 at Umart

The Mavic Mini 2 release is imminent. Suggest holding off as it is possible price will drop for the older models.

That's interesting if true. Thought the mini just came out. Wouldn't they want to focus on a Mavic 3 because they need something to do one better than the air 2 at the moment

    • I wouldn't rely on that, you could be waiting a long time for the actual release. When the Mini launched as well there were so many supply issues even the spark was never discounted really. And that was non-covid times with further supply issues.

D1 have the Mavic Mini at $599. I would rather spend the extra few dollars for a brand new unit.

    • Yep if $60 isn’t a problem. Might be good if you’re trying to save some cash.

        From the description (emphasis mine):

Given a new battery is $69, there's a good chance you'll end up spending an extra $9 for a potentially preowned drone. Not much cash being saved there.

  • I wonder if Warranty might be an issue as it will have an original activation date. Having said that, I never had issue with any DJI drone that wasn't accidental damage.

    • Should have full warranty. The only difference here is it won’t be spotless out of the box.
