    Poorly. The new chip is 30% ish faster and the GPU is much improved.

        Same here … seen your comments on few laptop deals …
        am also stucked between weight and power atm … best available i have seen is ideapad s540 deal few days back … but i heard there is also LENOVO YOGA SLIM 7 PRO coming with AMD Ryzrn 9 4900H … Screen 16:10 (like xps 13 with more vertical space) … and 1.45kg …
        its not available yet but in line for release i think.

          @ChipsChicky: I have macbook pro 2013 , which still runs fine for me, just wanted to have another windows laptop to play with . Too many options to chose from, i had budget for $1000, then $1500 and now I am happy to spend max $2000, but still don't know what I am looking for and which is the best buy.

  Stay away from mobile Ryzens 3xxx, they are slower, hotter and power hungry. Laptops are usually have very loud cooling system even without heavy load
