I think this could be abusing the system. I know if I was running an online store and I made a mistake by not setting a restriction on a birthday coupon code, I'd be pretty upset having to fork out to everyone on OzBargain.

Indeed there's a concern on the moral here. However from the description posted here there's no way we can know whether the deal is for an exclusive number of members only. Maybe they need to design a coupon code with quantity attached to it so the heap will die down after the quantity has been reached and people come back here to report it is no longer working…
