  Anyone try these at very low speed? With the PWM version I can hit a little over 200rpm, with voltage though I imagine they won't go as low, and I also worry about the minimum start up voltage.

    You can use argus montior to test the spinup voltage in windows, you should be able to do that in the bios too though? 43% dc is 5v, almost any half decent fan can spin up at 5v.

      That's true, but assuming that speed and voltage are linear (which is usually the case) 5V is ~750rpm, 2V would be ~300rpm.

        Arctic lists 2.8v starting voltage on its website. That would be 23%, I have be quiet fans that spin at 280rpm with 28%.
