  • You could weigh lbs with this.

    • Yep, it switches between g, oz, ozt, dwt, ct, and gn, so you can weigh in pounds if you like.

I have these, great for measuring out hop additions in brewing.

    • Exactly what I wanted this for :)

      • One caveat is using the included plastic lid as a tray. Aside from that it is fantastic

Same scale for $8.08 USD incl shipping from fasttech?

    • We can't ship these items to Australia
      Battery Cells: I2000 Stainless… (SKU 6700400)

  • I like the way you can Zero this Scale with a Container on it then measure the actual weight or volume added.
I was able to switch from grams to ml by pushing a button, so it can handle liquids.
Also, if you have old recipes you can flick out of Metric to Imperial.

Every digital scale I’ve had you can zero the scale with something on it. Nothing fancy imo.

My favourite feature of this is the power button - it's so handy to be able to turn the thing on so you can use it!

    Oops, ignore my '+'.
Found cheaper 'everyday' prices at Kmart.
    $9 5kg https://www.kmart.com.au/product/kitchen-scale/2045814
$16 as above, in stainless steel https://www.kmart.com.au/product/stainless-steel-kitchen-sca…

      1g vs 0.1g graduations…

    • Worth mentioning, both of the Kmart scales linked only measure in 1g increments making them almost useless when doing something like dosing coffee, where as the OP scales are 'accurate' to 0.1g.

With a more precise loadcell the more expensive it is to produce, and arguably the more accurate the scale is going to be.

  • Guys, wife looking for a kitchen scale. Is this good scale to buy? Any one has one want to comments?

    • Aldi has this one coming up in their special buy next week…check it out if you can wait, though i'm not sure of its quality.
      https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-wed-7-o…

      • Very different scales. One does 0.1g increments the other is 1g increments.
I use mine to dose coffee and 1g increments is entirely useless.

    • $13 bucks here for the same ones, i can confirm ive purchased and work fine.

    • Thanks for the link. Look like it the same thing but cheaper. Now I will wait for Cashback/Shopback for the extra $2 lol

    • They only go to 500g, OPs goes to 3KG, so these are not even close to a good comparison.

  • There isn’t a small time drug dealer in the universe that hasn’t owned 1 of these

  • I've got a similar looking product from a different store. Accuracy is more like 0.5g, they tend to stick a bit, then jump to a new value. Sometimes you can get 0.2g out of them but it's not very reliable.

  • Cheaper on eBay

Price jacked af, I bought it a few months ago for $6.

    • Also negging for misleading stats. It's VERY unlikely that scales are accurate to 0.1g from the entire of 1g to 3kg. That's very expensive to do for scales which are $10, and even 'coffee scales' like the Acaia and Hario have a range of accuracy (i.e. from 0 - 100g 0.1g accuracy, 100g to 2kg 0.5g accuracy, etc.)

    • -1

Just like the other person that gave a negative vote, your comparison only goes to 500g, not the 3KG that OPs link goes to. Your is a completely different listing under a different brand name, so no, they haven't jacked it from $6 to $18.39.

Your one has gone form your $6 to $17.99 https://www.amazon.com.au/Leiking-Electronic-Back-Lit-Functi…, but again, a completely different listing and weight rating.

      • I mean given the scales look exactly the same, comes with the same 'lid accessory', the exceedingly accurate technical promises made, I'm going to 'press X to doubt' on this one being accurate to 3kg.

The scale I got also reads up to 3kg 'fairly accurately' (compared to an Acaia Lunar).

  • Is the kmart ones good for small parcels to get weight or is there similiar for scales for more weight bigger and more heavy parcels where parcels can be collected from home

  • I think Coles sells a digital kitchen scale with similar functions for $10.

  • Drug dealer Special….

  • +1

I have something similar to measure out my espresso shots
