I had open a HSBC serious saver account in aug, they were offering 2.10% interest for 4 months. After 2 weeks their interest rate drop to 1.75% and after a week to 1.50%. I have move to 86400, they have a decent interest rate 1.60% atm.

Does anyone have any reviews using this account? I have seen reports of it being very hard to use with awkward security codes and not very user friendly.

I've had account with them for years with no dramas. Yes: 3 factor authentication, but the supplied dongle is no big issue considering the security it provides.

I have had this account for about two years and had no problems with it.

Celsius Networks @ 11.55% p.a on a Australian dollar stablecoin. Look at alternatives to banks.

As someone not familiar with Celsius Network, what are the risks? Would like to know if others are using it too.

        Hi Joel,
I've been using them for 12 months now.

Have a look at https://celsius.network there's some really handy information there.
They are in the business of ubanking yourself using digital currencies.

Currently have over 174,000 members and over $1B assets under management.

There's no minimum you need to deposit and you can withdraw at any time.

        Risks are
        1. It's outside of Australian government control and they can't save you if something goes wrong.

Have a look at their telegram (link is one their website) as well if you want detailed answers to questions that aren't on the website.

Plenty of other info available, but let me know if you want to know any more info.

Ultimately, there is risk involved, but you need to calculate Risk v Reward is worthwhile. I definitely have.

        • So like, an ETF but with bitcoins. Maybe with some "fun money" but not any serious investment. Pass.

        • I dont have any crypto, can I join?

  • Not sure if I’m allowed to post this but crypto.com pays 16% pa and interest is paid weekly. I’m currently with them and get about $5-$6 every Friday with a $2100 deposit.

    • Don't see why you wouldn't be allowed, but you should probably mention that the 16% is only if you are staking 10,000 CRO as that is rather important. Also the 16% is for a 1-month term deposit, so your money is locked in. I do prefer Celsius Network - no staking, no term deposit so you can withdraw at any time.

      • True but I guess the reason why I staked was for the unlimited lounge access which I will definitely use for next year and the cashback on subscriptions. Having said that 10,000 CRO is a lot more affordable now than when they wanted 500 MCO which cost a lot more to stake.

  • edit - this was meant to be a reply to above comment

I closed my HISA account with RABO about 6 months ago. I wonder if I will be treated as a new customer if I open a new account today?
