This is the cheapest I have seen this beer, Not sure on the quality but I have a case in my fridge for the long weekend cooling down.

Ha same, but got 2x Goats for $94, works out to be $37.60 a slab (and full sized tins) :P
Looks good to me, though haven't tried the Draught, got some Mornington Pale Ale in the fridge which is good but pretty pricey.
The draught is just OK - better than your CUB/Lion lagers but a decent way from a genuine premium lager. Anything you can get it a comparable price to VB/Draught it's a good buy.
I'm hoping it isn't too bad… usually, a coopers pale ale drinker.
I tried the Fat Pixie Hard ginger ale last week and while it was extremely rough it was enjoyable.
It's a draught/lager - there is only so much that you can do to it, right? It's pretty clean, not quite the perfect clean crisp lager that some craft breweries make. By marketing it as a draught, I think they're going for that Carlton Draught market ie more malty style. I dunno, I wouldn't choose it off the shelf (I'm the same as you, Coopers Pale is my default, but usually end up more adventurous), but I wouldn't be disappointed if I was at someones place and they handed me one. Does that make sense?
Makes sense man, thanks for your response.
I sunk a few last night and as you said, it's not the best but it's not the worst, tastes exactly as I remember Carlton Draught tasting which as a draft makes sense.
easy drinking, wouldn't buy off the shelf again but if I had it at a mates or at a pub wouldn't be disappointed.
Ha, fat pixies are pretty strong and rough, but perfect sometimes, they do a strawberry one too
got it 20% Cashreward yesterday
