Do I need to finish the first three first? I don't want to miss out on any of the story.
I believe it's a continuation of the first three, so it would be beneficial if you're into that. In saying that though, all Crash games share a similar storyline; Crash Bandicoot vs Neo Cortex/Dr N.Tropy. And they didn't really require the story for you to understand the game or to have fun. I always thought of the story as a subplot for an otherwise fun/hard platformer. So you could probably get away with playing the 4th with that in mind.
I only recently finished the first 3, 100% them and my 3 yr old son deletes my saved game. Father and son bonding time.
Now you can go back and 102% them!

It is very hit and miss.
When I ordered the last of us 2 it came out on a Friday and I didn't get it till the following Tuesday. In saying that it was Peak COVID and everything was pretty slow. This is the first order I have got early, I usually get it on the day.

I pre-ordered mine with Amazon (with Prime free shipping), got it today. Then they send me an email a few hours later saying delivery may be delayed… um… okay.
