Yes you read right. Somehow toysrus are offering free express delivery shipping (usually $14.95 and I am in VIC) plus 15% Amex Credit make this set an absolutely a must buy for me.
You can add the item into cart and do a mock check out and free express delivery will show up. Not sure is it VIC specific only or applies to other states.

Reading the T&C and offer description make me believe that the offer is valid each time you spend at participating store. So meaning every transaction made at participating store net you 15% credit. But don't mark my word for it :)

Yup. Got $41.85 back from Amex. So it's 15% of $279.

I had 2 orders - one with Barracuda which they say is waiting for stock…. and ask if I wanna wait or cancel the order (will wait for a bit for now), another order with other items box damaged items but 25% off RRP (+ 15% amex cashback on top) which apparently gone to warehouse for processing, but still no shipping update 2 days later..

I somewhat agree with the response they gave to @lilkid28 about being busy - after all they have 2 online shop fronts (hobbywarehouse/TRU) operating during COVID + international stock issues and coming up to Christmas and Barracuda is in hot demand.
Worst case scenario I will try to cancel my order if theres no hint of an ETA, and if I cant get a response from them then I'll try and obtain a refund through AMEX.

I'm in the same boat. No further updates since 30 September. No one answers the phone. No online order tracker. Starting to feel like this isn't going to end well.

Finally got a confirmation today from toyrus that it had been shipped.
Got my other order received today as well. Got an email response that my order with this Barracuda set is in warehouse, supposed to be shipped out soon… hopefully by early next week, judging from the other order experience.
Overall, if the price is right, I would buy from Toysrus again, but expect them to be slow with delivery and customer service response.
I managed to order box damaged Batmobile $299, Taj Mahal $329, plus some other sets, combined $35 shipping, before the 15% Amex rebate. Batmobile box has a 50 cent size hole damage, Taj Mahal box had some crease but nothing major. Happy with the price I paid.
I also just got shipping confirmation. Was almost about to commence cc charge back!
Received my order today (had the TRU "R" star logo on the shipping box), the day after getting a shipment confirmation email/sms from TRU
GWP minecraft polybag was also received, and the Barracuda barely fit into the shipping box (thankfully no shipping damage)
Glad that everyone got their delivery now despite the long delay. This deal not too shabby afterall :)
Yeah deal is not bad if Toysrus selling below RRP, and can stack Amex cash back on top.
