Free - Beastie Boys’ Final Concert at Bonnaroo 2009 @ YouTube

1660

For the Beastie Boys fans.

Is it a deal? It's free for the weekend and not available anywhere else so you can decide.

Beastie Boys’ final live show will be streaming for free online throughout this weekend (September 26-27).

The New York rap group gave their last performance at Bonnaroo 2009, when they headlined the festival.

Footage of the performance streamed on Bonnaroo’s YouTube page on Thursday night (September 24) but, due to demand, will now be available to watch until Monday. “We’ve heard from so many fans around the world that were unable to tune in last night, so our friends at Bonnaroo are letting the set live online through the weekend,” Beastie Boys tweeted.

    They’ll be back, May 18th 3000

    • Here to lay down some old, old, incredibly old school beats.

Everytime my dad (cabinet maker) used his Makita planer on a laminated bench top, it sounded like the beginning of the Beastie boys' song intergalactic

Slightly jarring watching them perform as well as ever, but looking for all the world like middle-aged suburban dads.

  • Free is the best deal of them all. Thanks for the share!

covids free but no-one wants it

Such a unique, skilled group of artists that paved their own success without ever comprising themselves. They evolved through decades of music and faced redicue being Jewish rappers from 5 boroughs new york when it was a rough place.

P.S mix master mike is an absolute genius - hello nasty is a fantastic album and this concert with him involved is a great performance to finish on (also featuring hip-hop legend Nas).

They actually started as an indie punk band. There's little throwbacks to it in almost all of their albums.

    • I'm 36 and TIL the Beastie Boys are Jewish
Being the entertaining 'white guy' rappers was about as specific as I ever contemplated.

The Beastie Boys fought and possibly died for my right to party

Wasn’t that song meant to be satire, until it became a hit and the band embraced that silly image for reals?

      • +1

Yes. It's why they stopped playing it.

  • Man, MCA already doesnt look well there. :(

    RIP MCA.

Want to watch it in its entirety, but if I do it will be…

    NO…
    SLEEP…
    TIL MIDNIGHT!!!

  • “Final concert”? What happened after? Hope they’re ok.

MCA passed from cancer and the other two I believe have said they won’t perform as Beastie Boys without him.

Apple TV has a special from them doing a stage talk covering their career that’s quite good too. I’d recommend it for those that haven’t seen it and are interested in the band.
