  • Looks like the Lenovo L340 deal is much better. Not sure how the screens compare though.

    • +1

to be honest I wouldn't touch a Ryzen 3000H gaming laptop since they are hot and power hungry, and especially since Ryzen 4000H are occasionally not that much more expensive

but who knows maybe someone is an HP fan (no pun intended) and will run that plugged in most of the time and doesn't care about all that

yes Lenovo is good but I am put off by single RAM slot. otherwise good budget entry

      • Ryzen 4000 or go Intel. I got a refurb (as new) HP gaming laptop for $730 last year. Intel i7 6 core GTX 1050 4GB.
That was an under rated deal.

      • Can you please clarify where you are getting your information that the 3000H series is hot and power hungry. I had a Lenovo S540 13" with a 3550H and had no issues with heat or being power hungry. Battery life was great at about 10hrs. I have upgrade to the S540 13" with the Ryzen 4800u 8c/16t, but the previous version was is still going strong as a portable/casual gaming laptop for the kids.
