Sorry can't help you there but people on Internode ISP users do not get metered on Steam Servers. So if you have a friend on Internode they can download the game and then back it up for you onto DVD.

Yep, I decided to give it a go and had no problems. From what I can see the download was approximately 2gb by the way.
Oh, very nice… I am tempted, but is there any way to find out how big the download will be before purchasing? don't want to buy it and then find it's like 8gb or something! :)
