I wont be touching Ali anytime soon, I purchased some tent pegs 3 months ago and paid extra for EMS 13-20 day shipping, they only left china last week, it looks like they'll be delivered this coming week, around 95 days waiting…

I hate to think how slow the cheap shipping is at the moment, lol

i'd actually contact support and raise the issue with them. If you paid extra and they haven't sent it express… then you should be entitled to a refund of the extra paid.

The fact it was 3 months ago.. you'd pretty much be at the limit for the transaction and you could say non delivery of the item.

      • I did last week, they just sent me the tracking info again and told me to wait, 2 days later it left china after sitting in "international departure GUANGZHOU" for basically the whole 3 months…

    • I ordered a Gulikit case for the Switch Dock, 2-3 months no update so i cancelled my order.

This isn't the first time i had delivery issues with them.

Blame the seller and not the marketplace. My order from Orico Official Store was sent on the 1st of September and delivered on the 18th.

Agreed. Ali support have been great ever my time I’ve had an issue

  • Looks like not a Realtek chip though

Realtek aren't the only decent brand and certainly not the best.

      • That’s true, what’s the Linux/BSD/OSX driver situation like for AX? That’s more my concern

        • That's where Google is your friend.

          • @Clear: For BSD it come up with kernel patches and issues.. so for those small BSD users it may not be clear cut.

          • +1

@Clear: I would describe Google in many way, but a friend it is not.

I ignored its friend request on the Facebook.

  • Any good ones with USB c and battery pass through?

Need one for a Dell monitor recently bought with HDMI but my laptop runs USB c

    • I’d advise against it, USB-C hubs are hard enough to get reliable (they tend to overheat and stuff) when charging or display becomes involved. Get the hub and add a USB network adapter.

      • Sorry I'm a bit new to this. What's the difference?

        • The charging passthrough tends to make things heat up. Ditto if the USB-C hub has HDMI as well

  • I have one of these for use with my Surface Pro 3. It's a great device for the money - stable, works every-time, no driver install required. I've had good luck with a few Ugreen devices now.

  • Will this work with a HP Ellitebook?

    • Yes.

      • Thanks. Ordered one, but WITHOUT the power supply. Is this something that I would need? I only really want this device for the Ethernet connectivity, but in saying that, will also use the other usb ports too because my pc only has one usb.

        • Only required if you were to plug devices in needing that extra power. USB flash drives and the like will be fine without.

  • Just ordered… I hate the Aliexpress app. Random clicking around on deals and the total ended up being $19.24.
