Hey guys I just bought a car but i can only use Bluetooth for hands free phone calls. Can’t use it for music. So I need one of those Bluetooth transmitter/receiver devices. Preferably 5.0 or higher. I looked up on eBay amazon etc but there are so many options. I was wondering if you can share your experiences and let me know what I should buy, I’d really appreciate it. I basically wanna use it for listening to music in my car and sometimes use it to transmit audio from tv to my Bluetooth speakers/ headphones. Thank you all 😊
Looking to Buy a Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver for Car, TV etc

Damn, ninja'd !!
Oh yea I’ve heard of it but I think it only transmits mono audio so it’s pretty useless if you wanna listen to some good old techno 😎
Yes, that's one of the downsides.
I'm a bit unclear about what you're looking for. Are you saying that you want a bluetooth receiver for your car so that you can play music from your phone on your car radio?
And that you want a bluetooth transmitter for home so that you can play audio from your TV on your bluetooth headphones?
That sounds like two different and separate devices to me. Maybe you can get both in the same device, but I can't see why you'd want to - you'd need to remember to bring the device inside when you want to connect it to the TV, and bring it out to your car every time you want to use it there.
How are you going to connect these devices to your car radio and your TV? Does your car radio have a 3.5mm audio input? Or RCA inputs? Or do you want the bluetooth device to transmit an FM signal that you can tune in on the car radio?
Does your TV have a headphone socket, or RCA audio outputs?
Mate, love your questions 😂
First of all, I need a Bluetooth receiver for my car and a transmitter for my tv and the device I am looking for has both of them. it is a 2 in 1 device. The reason I made this conversation is that there are many devices out there, many brands.. I just don’t know which one to buy. I was asking if anyone has a similar thing and has an experience with one of those devices and can recommend me one.Oh and yes I prefer Bluetooth over fm radio transmitter. Cause I wanna use the same device for both my car and tv. And my car audio has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Same as tv. 3.5mm
Also yes this device is pretty small so I don’t mind keeping it in my pocket. If I like it maybe I’ll buy 2. But first, I need a suggestion. Has anyone used one?
I bought one of these a couple weeks ago:
https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07ZHTPQLV/ref=ppx_yo_d…
Works great as a transmitter but everytime I tried to use it as a receiver with an iPhone it'd almost always immediately disconnect when I tried to play music or other audio. Tried with different iPhones and iPads and same results, so I contacted the seller and they asked me to return it.
I ended up getting one of these instead:

It's a receiver only so may not suit your needs, but it works pretty well.
thanks for your msg :) i waited a few days and ended up buying this
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Baseus-Wireless-Bluetooth-5-0-Re…i am not sure if it has both receiver and transmitter but i gave up on using it for tv/bluetooth headphone connection. so i only bought it for my car. will see how it goes :) but i have a good experience with baseus brand in the past so i can recommend it. i will msg again once its arrived. have a good day everyone :)
Does your car have a USB socket? That's how this device gets its power. If your car doesn't have a USB socket, but it does have a cigarette lighter socket, you'll need to get a cigarette lighter to USB adaptor for it. If your car doesn't have a cigarette lighter socket, then I guess you'll have to get a USB power bank.
i am not sure if it has both receiver and transmitter
The eBay listing says that it's only a receiver.
my car has only ciggie lighter usb socket. well, i bought it from this seller and on the ad it says receiver and transmitter both, i have taken a screenshot in case if it doesnt have then i can complain :) also in the whole ad, it does not mention about where it gets its power from, so i am assuming it is something they had to mention as well. in worst case i will get my money back :)
This might (might) solve your car audio problem. There are downsides, but might work https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bedoig.BTm…
