isn't this the latest release? how would they put in a chip which is 3 years old?
It is interesting the expected GP2 did not feature in the Hero 9. There is very little info on whether GP1 got memory or any other tweaks, beyond driving new denser pixel sensor and extra screen.
I have a 5 black, would be a real difference with this?
I believe it’s only laggy if you use it in 4K and above? Which probably is most of the time. But it works reasonably well in 1080p is my understanding.
Front screen has very low frame rate which will cause very very very lag. Beware this and front screen will be useless. Inside the process chip is three years old. no processing power or you have to wait the FW update to fix the lag issue.
