Up to you, but the Barracuda is a much better/ faster drive and all I need is <200gb. Everything else is on portable HD's.
Wonder if this comes or can download easy to use Seagate Cloning Software and/or drive management software?
Comes with a download link for the Seagate software, but don't even bother it's ridiculously unreliable. Stick with Clonezilla or something equivalent.
Of course, the week after I buy one. Damnit.

Im replacing a 120gb HDD in an old MacBook that was only half full. So 240gb was more than enough. 500gb would never get used. Have portable HDD for large amounts of storage. So base it on what you are replacing I guess.
Could be useful for someone on a budget. With Crucial BX500 480GB $65 on Amazon it is better value.
