Pretty good price. "Half price" at $2.70 at WWS now. That's less than $25/kg net of sugar for the 90%:

        Cost per kilo net of sugar. Strictly speaking, sugar is not chocolate. More sugar, cheaper the total price.

          @wisdomtooth: Yes, I get that the Lindt dark chocolates have low sugar content. But what is the relevancy of the $/kg of the sugar?

            @AussieZed: The relevant part, for OzBargainers at least, is the unit price. Some chocolate bars are 180g (e.g. Cadbury's), some are 80g (e.g. Pico); some are mostly sugar (e.g. "milk" and white "chocolates"), some are mostly all chocolate (e.g. Lindt 95%). Sugar is not xocolatl. I'm attributing zero value to the sugar (when in fact I should be attributing negative value).

              @wisdomtooth: Ah ok I think I get it now. I thought that sugar has always been an ingredient of chocolate, though?

                @AussieZed: No, it was added when taken from Mexico to Europe.

                A little sugar is fine, but when it's mostly sugar you might as well eat it by the spoonful (insulin resistance to the wazoo).
