I was thinking of purchasing one of those gazebos from Costco and wondering if anyone has had experience with them?

My local store has one on display if you want to have a look at them before buying.
Is it going to fit in my Corolla?
L 4.3 x W 3.7 x H 3.3 m
Weight Box 1: 97.5kg; Box 2: 100.7kg; Box 3: 100.7kgYou can fit your Corolla in it
Bunnings have cheaper options.
i went yesterday at Bunnings and you get similar for 1700 but it is cheap… I want something that will last a bit longer and looks good.
Yeah Costco's one is far superior. From memory the unit is pretty solid and has good weather protection. Also really fun and easy to assemble.
Is it tho? The Bunnings offering is:
$400 cheaper
Heavier
Has an actual wind ratinghttps://www.bunnings.com.au/mimosa-4-27-x-3-69-x-3-23m-woode…
@Typical16-bitEnjoyer: Not sure about the one you mention. Haven't seen that one in my store.
I think that's considered a semi-permanent structure. I suggest you contact your local council before purchasing.
Easier to ask forgiveness than to ask for permission ;)
Easier perhaps, but a lot more expensive if the council decides not to give you a permit and makes you pull it down.
Remove a few roof panels. It's now open to the sky. It is now a pergola that doesn't require a permit.
@Typical16-bitEnjoyer: Love for the negger to point out where they disagree. According to the actual rules, I'm correct ;)
We just built one. Had to hire a van to get it all home. Mostly really easy to put together, but an absolute nightmare to get the roof pieces on with just two people! Highly recommend you rope in some friends (with ladders) to help with that part. Looks great though, we're pretty happy with it! :)
i have it, its great.
Looks good. A lot of the cost is in the big pillars. I assume they are solid so that's where the value is.
Otherwise, you could build your own for marginally more work at a lower price.
