It feels like this game travelled here from 2016. Terrible waypoint system, so many bugs during missions that make them impossible to complete. Mission items dropping through the ground, NPCs getting stuck and the mission not progressing, triggers not activating for the next step.
I've done maybe 8 side quests and 3 of them have bugged out to the point that I've had to quit and restart the mission.
But the waypoint system is one of the worst I've dealt with; it shows the waypoint as a general direction, but the maps are always circuitous meaning if you just follow the waypoint you will more often arrive at a dead end. The fast travel system also doesn't tell you which fast travel point is closest to the goal most of the time. It did it once for me but no other time.
TLDR; Missions are buggy, waypoint system is bad. The game otherwise is fun, I like what they've done with the bosses.

    • I enjoyed the game. It is fun to play, and I find it addictive.
I may have noticed a side mission bug once, but I am not sure now.
I don't recall seeing a weapon going through the ground.
I thought that way point is working most of the time; if you want to find the closest travel point, then go into the missions list and activate the mission that you want. The way point will be shown on the planet you need to visit, then the area within that planet.

Although I have to say I got it on steam, so 6 months after first release. Bugs might have been fixed by then.

    • It felt like Borderlands 1

    • I admit it’s not a fantastic game, but I always thought the waypoints not being a GPS turn here was a feature and not a bug, they expect you to explore around in a general location.

  • Was $999

  • Good game, but nothing that wow'ed me like the first 2. Plenty of content in the base game IMO, if you are not a completionist, might be happy with the base game for less.
