this doesn't mean it isn't fake.
Yeah but if supplied by Amazon its a no fuss exchange/refund- and more likely than not its a legitimate item.
Will they be getting cheaper soon?
That's a million dollar question.
Can I phone a friend?
No but can I entertain you with a 50/50?
There is currently an oversupply in flash memory. Perhaps it will decrease further, perhaps not.
r/technicallythetruth
Cheapest price was last year Prime day when they went for $72.
This is lowest price since then.
They're pretty much always getting cheaper that's why all these Ozb deals for things like SSD, RAM etc aren't exactly bargains.
Hmmm … Almost pulled trigger. But it seems the resolution is a bit low (1366 x 768) and the WIFI speed is way too low (802.11a)
Resolution? Wifi speed? The OPs post is a microsd card.
I don't know, I just read the Product Information ;p
Does it have band 28?
No headphone jack. No deal.
jeez, everyone’s following apple now
What's a good card for Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus to shoot 4K and photos?
Bought it last year from Amazon for $69.90. It’s been very reliable. I also laughed at the product description.
True. :-)
Yeah would love more of them.. I bought a few
$45.91, a Samsung EVO Select 256 GB is still a good choice in terms of speed
Is this suitable for the Nintendo Switch? Might pull the trigger if its the best deal for that.
Been using it on the Switch since December. Works just fine! I store my games digitally and haven't run into any issues.
Reviews are kinda iffy with all the fake claims.
This one says it is fulfilled by Amazon so hopefully it's not being sent from a third party seller.
Amazon aggregates reviews from all sellers onto the same product page (and even variants of the same product I think). Buy the one shipped and sold by Amazon and you'll be fine. You'll still have Amazon's customer service on top of that
400Gbs Extreme Pro is cheaper than Extreme
https://www.amazon.com.au/Sandisk-SDSQXA1-400G-GN6MA-Extreme…
$117 is more expensive, not cheaper?
The Extreme is showing as $123.19 for me. Click the link to "other, faster version" in description and see what you get quoted?
Yeah same mines showing as $123
Now it is RRP 188
any good deals on 256gb? (all the products I own have the 256gb max storage).
thank you
They probably don't.
Thats just likely the largest card on the market at the time.
Worst case scenario, you might need to select larger clusters when you format it.
But 16kb clusters isnt a bad idea on such big cards anyway.
Smaller FAT to cache/reference.
Anyone recommend an otg usb c SD card reader? Looking to connect to phone to backup photos/videos etc.
I am happy with this one: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07L2Q2ZCK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i…
Thanks. Can it read 400gb SD cards?
Edit: description says it can. Many thanks.
I bought 400gb from the last deal but comparing to my old Evo Plus card, it was not a huge difference in speeds.
anyone tried this in a dashcam?
the huge size should make it wear less, and last longer right?
Always go with endurance sd cards for dash cams.
I've noticed from my own brief testing and comparing posted benchmarks, that the speeds of the sd card are really hit or miss when it comes to compatibility.
The Samsung EVO Select/Plus actually had a higher random read/write speed over the Sandisk line from numerous devices.
I haven't built up enough knowledge on the topic to determine whether it's a hardware or software related conundrum.
If you're making this purchase for a music player(Sony, Fiio etc), or a smartphone that has an unfamiliar motherboard, I'd personally check the extra time trying to find another individual online, to see how their experience was, using your exact device.
Nice.
Official Amazon product too; they're a listed distributor.
