$10 Zip Credit Back with Any Purchase @ Pizza Hut

1080

Hey everyone, first time poster so here goes.

Was browsing Pizza Hut for a cheeky lunch when I found this offer.

No Coupon Code Required and as per T&Cs:

  • To be eligible to receive this Offer you must make an online purchase at Pizza Hut using an active Zip Account during the Offer Period.
  • The credit back is capped at $10 AUD per purchase and a maximum of $30 AUD credit back per Customer (i.e. you are only eligible to redeem this Offer three (3) times).
  • The $10 AUD credit back amount will be applied to the Zip Account from which the eligible purchase was made within 14 business days of the purchase being processed.

No mention of a minimum spend but with the wording of credit back I assume it's spend $10 to get $10 credited.

Looks like a lot of geniuses have not read this fully. Zip offer is online only. Pizza huts min delivery for orders is $24.90. Hence you can’t just order a drink or something small. Nothing in this world is free.

There is a thing called pick-up.

    • We get paid to eat.

  • Hi can someone enlighten me on Zip repayment. If I only have $10 outstanding, and the default repayment amount is $40, would Zip just deduct $10 instead of $40 on repayment scheduled date?

  • Has anyone used Zip app? When you check out with Zip app, do you need to enter your credit card details first, then click Pay with ZipPay?

    • I think you need to add either credit or debit card when you created the account plus either Paypal or Facebook for confirmation you as a real person, otherwise no go…

      • When I signed up on Zip, I provided my card details. My account was created with no issue. I don't understand why I need to provide my card details again.

        • just need to login and no further asking anything… so not sure what's wrong with yours…
Do you sure pick the right option??? otherwise try again see it's happening again or not…

          • @thomalfa: Yes, pretty sure. The card details are required fields. Tried a couple of times, no go.

            • @[Deactivated]: login into zippay separately and see if the card detail is missing…

otherwise, can only fill the card detail again and see if any odds going on…

              • @thomalfa: Just logged into Zip Pay. I can see my card details there. No idea what went wrong. I might contact Zip to find out why

  • Called Zip, and it appeared something went wrong with the app. I was able to place an order on my laptop, no dramas. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Hopefully it works next time.

Unable to process payment at Pizza Hut checkout, on both mobile and laptop. Promotion failed?

    • +2

Yes same thing happened to me. But I tried after few minutes and it worked.
On a side note, I already see a $10 credit for my $14.95 order from Tuesday.

      • You forgot to apply 30% off code.

        • +1

No that was from Tuesday BOGO offer.

I know that this deal expires today. However, I have just placed an order for pickup on Tuesday (2-for-1 deal) and it was charged to my Zip Pay account right away. In theory, that transaction should be eligible for the $10 rebate. My credit back for the previous Zip Pay transaction took 24 hours so I cannot confirm it until tomorrow.

Just wanted to share it with other people who might not have used up their three transactions with Pizza Hut.

    • Still haven't received the credit. Placed an order 3 days ago

    • I placed all my 3 pre-orders on Wednesday with 30% off code and Shopback 25% cashback, one order on 16th.

      • yeah… I did the same thing… ordered when ShopBack 25% cashback pizza hut, and ordered bogof Tuesday for 2 orders total would get 4 pizzas.

thinking to order for a third time but nehhh enough pizza for the week

  • Looks like the code HUT5130 expired. Ordered a pizza for $4.95 but the code couldn't be applied. Used the code yesterday for a large pizza. Maybe there's a minimum spend?

    • +1

Only works on a large pizza.

      • Ah. That's why.

  • sick of pizza today. can i preorder for pickup tommorrow?

    • Yes, of course. Today is the last day you can have the $10 credit back

  • do these still work?

  • You can redeem this offer for up to 3 orders using Zip between Monday 7th September until Sunday 13 September 2020.

  • Three lots of $10 credits back received for 3 pre-orders placed on 9th.

    • Same for me but the balance used has only gone down by $10.

      • Mine went down $20, but not too worried about it.

      • same just show $10 deduction but in recent activity shows 3x $10 :/

        • +1

If it doesn't get fix my this week I would raise it with customer care. Might be their system error.

          • @Iluvfreebies: It can take up to 14 days for the credits to appear in your account

            • @[Deactivated]: We can see the $30 credits on our account. But the balance used has not gone down by $30 but only $10

              • @Iluvfreebies: That sounds odd

                • @[Deactivated]: Yeah thats odd. I will wait 24 hour and if not reflected then I have to call or email them :(

@shahrah: When you try to make additional payment, you'll see the September balance is correct.

                    • @Neoika: Nope mine is not correct :(( still showing $19.85

                      • +2

@shahrah: Check the small figure under the main one.

                        • @Neoika: Oh, yes that one is showing $0,

So what if I press continue? what will happen?

                      • @shahrah: Does show the correct sept balance under additional payments for me but not the Wallet overview.
