Thank you very much, checking when to use my spend $50 for 4 weeks offer
Great pricing, thanks for posting!
Was $37 ($8/~21% off)
$30 at woolworths so with 15% off it may be better at Woolies. (10% off with Woolies mobile/card/insurance + 5% gift voucher).
Not everyone gets the benefit of the 10% off.
Yep, but for $50/year for the credit card it's worth it just for that. (No fee for the first year)
hmmm they have paused new applications
@ippy: I just went with the phone plan. $150 a year and two months in have saved $87 on groceries.
pro tip: keep your ear canals moisturised by pouring a bit of olive oil into it.
this prevents clogging up of ear wax if you have the dry kind. The reason why this prevents clogging isn’t really because of moisturising. It’s because olive oil, is able to dissolve earwax, where water cannot. That means you pour it in, excess wax dissolves, and comes out even you wash out the oil. Not a super fun process imo because you just end up with oily ears lol
Though using olive oil in the ear may have some benefits, there is not sufficient research to conclude that it is more effective than medical remedies. Some research suggests it may make an earwax buildup worse.
Research shows you can make your argument more believable when you say "research suggests/shows".
/sI’ve found it to be far more effective than over the counter remedies. Helps to warm the olive oil & lightly place cotton wool in after to prevent it running down your neck. Has always worked for me for wax release (takes a few days).
my ENT specialist told me the stuff in medical ear sprays contain basically the same thing as olive oil (i'm guessing cheaper substances)
Assuming I use 500ml per ear, what else can I do with the remaining 2-litre? I don't cook.
Donate it to charity, or gift it to your neighbours who home cook their food.
We used to use olive oil for earaches. Do you know if it works or do I tell my folks to stop making mini salads in my ear canal?

I would rather 4 of these (1 litre each) for $30.
You’re better off getting this.

Yeah totally!! except no stock anywhere near me:(
is thata the faka Extra Virgin Olive Oil that Coles got rapped over the knuckles for a few years ago ?
oh no - it says it on the packet - 'Refined Olive Oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil'
so refined … lol
So would u say this olive oil tastes better then the Cobram?
That stuff tastes horrible, cheap spanish import junk that tastes more like motor oil than olive oil. Cobram is actually amazing tasting olive oil.
mmm - motor oil - once you develop a taste for that, you can go for hours …
Spain and Italy have so much fake olive oil coming out you really shouldn't touch it.
From memory that brand didn't score that high doesn't mean they were full dodgy like using some different oil completely but probably not meeting evoo standard.
To avoid fakes buy Australian brands like Cobram and red island which are some of the best quality in the entire world and not fake.
Why is there no stock of the light Cobram anywhere in the 3 litre tin?
Is this better than La Espanola?
La Espanola is first pressed.cobram is undeniably better.
"Cold pressed" and "first press" are outdated and unhelpful marketing terms. All virgin oils have to be "cold extracted" – extracted from the olive without the use of excessive heat (manufacturers can extract more oil from olives with heat but the quality suffers). Traditional hydraulic presses have been almost entirely replaced by centrifuges, and all virgin oil comes from a single extraction – there's no second press.

La espanola comes from Spain and was rated fairly low. Spain and Italy are full of fake olive oils.(look it up if you don't believe me)
Australian olive oils are highly regarded in the world. Partly because of great quality and our strict regulations mean no fakes.
Thanks guys for the information. I bought La Espanola and found it very good. I think Cobram will be much better. Will try it this time.
I mostly use Rice Bran oil though.
Cobram is good but so is the Aldi local one @ $24 for 3lt - normal price . Suspect it might come from the same source as Cobram?.
Had this question a few weeks ago. According to Choice Cobram and Red Island are substantially better than Aldi. Haven't done a blind taste myself.
I think this price is the cheapest ever as per Price Hipster.
Costco sells this as well. I’m not sure of the price, but it may work out cheaper.
Do you have any more details on coming special?
