Any steam players in Aus? I've been reading on Reddit and steam reviews that the lack of a browse doesn't allow for many (or if any) games to be found even during peak times, which is kinda holding me back from buying this game.
*Edit: Referring to SW Battlefront II
Also interested in this. Does it play better than it did at release? Still have massive microtransaction issues? Still players in Australia?
can't answer for PC or even recently but the issues were really resolved within a few months on ps4 and it was a great game easy to find matches (not so much on straighter assault after a while though). lots of maps and characters, pretty fun game.
but its fairly old now and i can't imagine the lobbys are still full
Micro transactions patched out over a year ago. The game's gotten some really good reviews since then. Pity support for it has stopped but the end game is still great.
I don't believe it's an issue. If you buy on Steam, it requires Origin to play so you should get the game in Origin (if it's anything like buying Ubisoft games outside of Uplay). The playerbase will be the same.

I might get this now. Been waiting for SW BF2 to be on sale and I don't have the time to grind and unlock all heroes so celebration edition sounds good for me.
Let us know once you've gotten it and if it's as difficult to find games to join or otherwise. Read that co-op games have little issue, but the other modes may not be as lucky. Thank you!
I haven't gotten around to downloading it yet (90Gb) and likely won't before the game's sale expires. I looked at a few recent reviews like this one below and decided to jump on it. Some game modes will have few games going whilst others will have more. There's bots though which is what sold me on getting the game.
Dammit I missed out
You left out that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is 50% off ($19.97)!
