Looks like a nice introductory price for the PC version of the controversial Ultimate Edition of IGN's GOTY from 2019.
Epic Games store has it for $90 atm.
Usual price will be $59.95 and the deal ends on the 9th of September.
[PC, Steam] Control Ultimate Edition $47.96 (20% off) @ Steam Store

Coming soon to GOG too: https://www.gog.com/game/control_ultimate_edition
Will be interested to see if they match the Steam discount. I'd usually rather buy from GOG, however I have some leftover money in my Steam wallet so I'll grab it there anyway.
$40.77 on gmg

I think the cheapest at the moment may be Humble if you have the additional choice discount (pairs nicely with that 75% off sub deal from the other day)
Got it for about 35Aud there this morning.https://www.humblebundle.com/store/control-ultimate-edition?…
Cheers. Worked out to be $39.73 for me.
Because you probably haven't changed the apportionment slider yet. Set as default at 10% discount and 10% charity. You can set it at 20% discount and then you pay $35.31.
Happy to give more to charity
Not the cheapest. IsThereAnyDeal lists five stores that have it cheaper. I got it at Humble Bundle for $35.31 just now using their Humble Choice discount (it's $44.14 there if you don't have the discount).
In the beginning after it's been released this game rating was just average now on Steam it is 9/10.
I don't know if I'd call it average. Metacritic had it at around 80% after release and it won game of the year in several GOTY's.
Steam user reviews were probably less friendly. It had performance issues and still does. I have a GTX 1080 and unless I run it on low settings, I won't get over 40 fps. At high settings I'm on 30 fps max.
On my RTX 2060 laptop I get 60 fps on medium. Seems to be highly optimised for RTX cards.
Thats because of DLSS 2.0, its an amazing thing
You could say, this deal is out of Control! (Da boom chi!)
…no need for security, I'll see myself out.
Cheaper and more content than the Epic Games Store/Console versions. Glad i waited.
