How much do they normally cost?

    • +2

      Priceless

    • 20% more?

  • Will cash rewards still be paid out if paid via Latitude pay?

  • Anyone else find that Liqourland is usually about 20% more expensive than Dan Murphys or First Choice?

    • +1

Yeah, 'cause they're in a different retail space compared to Dan Murphy's and First Choice (giant liquor store compared to your local Liquorland). Sometimes they have good deals though

      • Aren't they still owned by Coles and an array of multi-billion dollar companies?

        • Yes, but different retail space. Like Target and Kmart; both owned by Wesfarmers.

    • Same applies for BWS.

    • +3

Would only ever buy their promotions, their standard prices are atrocious.

  • Does anyone know if this is capped at per transaction or total number of transactions? Perfect timing as well for 1500 flybuys points.

    • +3

These will be the terms for the Liquorland offer:

During the 2 hour promotional period, 20% cashback for Liquorland is capped at $20 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 5pm to 7pm AEST 02/09/2020.

    • Say more about 1500 flybuys points.

      • I think it's one of those regular targeted spend $x get y bonus points offers.

    • Good find

The summer solstice is quite good…normally $90. Now it’s $75 plus 20% off so $60.

Makers Mark 46 for $60 before cash back

The Balvenie Doublewood and Glenfiddich 12 are my picks of the Whisky selection, for value

    I got a box of this…
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/561327
8% alcohol, about $1.17 per bottle after cashback.

    • I got three. (Only three because that basically maxes out the deal 😉)

    • That's pretty decent, ABV wise. Just collected my order and will keep an eye on this next time

  • +1

Looks like they don't include GST in the cashback

    • Yep. Been like that for a while. Same applies to First Choice Liquor.

EDIT: I've added it to the deal for the benefit of anyone else who's not aware of this.

    • +2

I feel they shouldn't be able to advertise 20% cashback when it is only 18.18%

      • -1

        I agree.

It's not so bad with ShopBack, where cashback is always ex-GST. But with Cashrewards you can't immediately tell if 20% is actually 20% or only 18.18%.

Grabbed a case of beer and some wines - cheers OP

Dimple 12YO Scotch Whisky 700mL $32.73 after cashback
Saltram 1859 Barossa Shiraz $12.27 after cashback

  • Grabbed a present for dad thanks, why did the cotton on deal expire before it even started?

    • You are a day late for the cotton on deal
