The upgrade edition includes the forsaken and shadowkeep DLC. All previous DLC is already included in the free Destiny 2

Currently this edition is $75.95 on Steam, so a 43% saving.

Forsaken on it's own is also on sale for $20.39, a saving of 49% off the Steam price.

Shadowkeep also has a 49% saving $28.02, versus a $54.95 price on Steam

Destiny 2: Beyond Light comes out mid November.

    No you don't get all the content, and I wouldn't bother either with this dying game. They are vaulting a bunch of content from vanilla/expansions.

    FWIW Bungie are entering a deal with Xbox Gamepass - maybe someone else knows if Xbox users get 'free' access to the new worlds that are being released in November .. or just what doesn't get vaulted at that time

      Note this is for x-box console. It won't be coming to the PC game pass until some time in 2021.

    No. But certain DLC elements are locked including world, gear, missions etc.

  Edit: i should say though, decently fun content, even if playing through it late means its a little less good and useful. Good price for it. still updooted deal.

    A. With some of the core Year 1 destinations entering the Vault, it’s true that the free-for-all-players Red War, Curse of Osiris, and Warmind campaigns will no longer be playable……The Forsaken and Shadowkeep story campaigns will still be playable in Year 4 for owners of those expansions.

        I agree, by the sounds of it that's their expansion plans. And the money makers know the dorrars are in the subscript. 12 months however is plenty of time to play a game, and this price may be a fair price for content.

  New light player here. I was thinking of getting forsaken, but i just wanted some veterans opinion on whether shadowkeep is worth with beyond light coming soon.

    I can't answer your Q as I'm new too. Perhaps start with Forsaken as it's only a 20er, and run through the existing 3 campaigns in New Light before Forsaken. Shadowkeep gets less of a rap online.
