What the title says. It's been cheaper in the past. Pair it with a 3400G, 16GB 3600MHz RAM and throw it in an Inwin Chopin case, you've got yourself a mITX low-power gaming PC/console replica for under $700.

So-dimm RAM are more expensive and not as fast. Also, where's the fun in that? Getting a PC together is the best part of all.
Cheaper, but not as fast.
Wow this actually looks great. At $599 regular price it seems quite amazing? I'm going to guess it's not amazing for playing games, but more than enough for everyday browsing etc. right? Don't think it has enough slots for expandable memory, though perhaps you could run a usb port + external memory?
If you're not overclocking, go for the A520s instead.
Any cheaper board?
PLE has the Asrock A520 itx board for $175. PCCG has the gigabyte A520 itx board for $185.
It's very new (released last week) so still hoping more itx boards get released and cheaper ones too.
They sure missed my sale with B550 series due to being one of the shittiest i/o panel and header layouts possible on all itx boards…
No USB C
Any way to get usb c?
Cheers in advanceHeader adaptor if your case has a USB C front panel port? Otherwise nothing except adaptors
B550 😝.
If you just need port and don’t care for speed, then get a usb 19 pin to 20 pin adaptor. It goes right into the usb 3.2 internal header.
I'm disappointed that the 'Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX' doesn't have a USB-C Front Header Pins.
Would have been the perfect board for my build.
exactly… also their rear panel on that is ridiculous too
Or, just get asus pn50 came with ryzen 4000 apu ; smaller and performs better
