    4 raw steaks for $95 seems expensive…

I assume that they are cooked for you, served at your table and someone does the washing up for you.

Is that included in your deal?

jv is so bloody pedantic, but I do admire the commitment.

      +1 from me

      • I forgot to mention the roast potatoes and side salad

        • +2

I prefer chips not roasted potatoes

It is cheaper if you buy , cook a normal grade.

    3+ marbling sirloin at $67/kg!

How can it be an ozbargain post?

With this price (or close) you get marbling score 5-7 Wagyu at Costco (usurally 69.99).

  • do you deliver to SA?

    $20/steak or $66.67/kg.

At $66/kg, Marble Score 3+ doesn't seem too attractive.

At 50% off, that means they were sold at $130/kg or $40/steak. They also have a Wagyu Sirloin with marble score 6+ that is selling $30/steak. So at full price this Marble Score 3+ black angus is more expensive than the Wagyu sirloin with marble score 6+?

I have bought form Vics Meat before and I can definitely vouch for their quality, but the price for this deal just doesn't seem too attractive to me.

My best purchase from Vics was the $50 300g Grain Fed Scotch Fillet x 4 (it was buy 2 get 2), which ended up being $12 per scotch fillet and that, to me, is a GREAT deal.

    • good pick up, hopefully they can provide something for us OzB

      • I'm hoping to see that deal come again… Personally I don't really need high marble score for steaks, ended up too fat/greasy for my liking. Their grain fed scotch fillet was great, hopefully I'll see that again soon.

  • Did vic meat corp have covid-19 cluster?

I've been buying from Vic's meat. No doubt it will be excellent, but there is a reason why it's not selling despite being on their specials pages for more than a month. Too dear!

Not a deal $67/kg for only 3+ marbling is expensive

    • The difference is that Vics are truthful about their marbling scores, unlike many companies that post on here and just make it up… “Oh yeah, ours is 9+”
