      Sorry to hear! It's designed as a chocolatey coffee best suited for milk based or espresso but we did have to use a slightly different Colombian for the last couple of weeks due to shipping container delays.

      Maybe this made it a little milder than usual!? Back to our usual Colombian again for MU now anyway! 😄😄

      You could also try adjusting your grind setting, aim for a 25 to 35 sec extraction! If extraction is too quick, this can affect the strength and boldness of flavours

        I mostly use with milk. Yes the extraction seems a little quicker than other beans. I will make it more finer grind and see. cheers!

      My first time trying it, and based on what rep says they are back to the old beans. I find it nice and fresh for milk coffee and long blacks with a low bitterness, but it does like a finer ground for a decent extraction.

        You've called me crazy and pathetic, and assumed the issue was my fault based on what?

        In what world is me not receiving what I ordered and the company not rectifying the issue my own fault? Am I pathetic because they didn't send me what I ordered? And didn't reply to my emails? Do you need evidence? I have my order confirmation and photos of what I received.

        I neg the deal to warn others of what has happened to me in my experience with this business, hopefully it will save someone else going through the same poor customer experience I did.

      Hi Ozge, the awards were all for coffee roasting in the Golden Bean, Hobart Royal, Sydney Royal and the Melbourne International Coffee roasting comps over a few years. Golden Bean we enter most years and the others we entered once or twice.

      I believe we have around 26 awards in total, about 3 golds, 10 Silver and 13 bronze across multiple catagories ie milk, pour over, plunger, espro press, espresso and decaf filter, single origins etc.

      As coffees are seasonal and we are often trying new crops and processing methods etc, these frequently change. If you were after an award winning milk based blend from our core coffee then Jamocha, Fortitude and Magical Unicorn have all won awards. Otherwise if you were ineterested in more unique custom roasted single origins from our website for particular brewing methods then feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected] with preferences and I'd be happy to assist with advice

      These coffee are roasted medium and medium dark roast which will perform well all round but if you are drinking as a black coffee brewed on the Aeropress like I do each morning then there are some great coffees that really shine as more of a light -light medium profile that preserves the acidity and highlights more of the unique flavours and sweetness for this brewing method.

      Some of the El Salvador or Ethiopian coffees would be an example of this and some of the more fruity floral profiled coffees on our website. I very much like the El Salvador Santa Rosa and Colombia Penol :)

    Just wanted to comment on my order from last month's special that arrived a few days ago:

    That Brazil Adalgisa Vilela is one phantastic coffee! It emerges like fresh molasses from my coffee machine and it's also very forgiving to being ground a bit too finely (ran out over about 40 s today). One of the best coffees I've had at home!
