With all the cheap pressure washer deals on ATM, thought this maybe helpful and fits straight onto the Blackridge Petrol Pressure Washer from SuperCheap (SCA)

I purchased the AutoCare Adjustable Foam Cannon Gun Snow Foam Lance Adapter Soap Dispenser With 1/4" Quick Connector for Pressure Washer Gun tried it today and works great! https://www.dropbox.com/s/ehw5zir330eo4ij/1.jpg?dl=0

I have a Gerni 145 and have fitted a Gates https://carcareco.com.au/product/gates-re-usable-hose-fittin… Re-usable Hose Fitting to adapt to a ToolPro Lance nozzle as the Gerni lance is a total fail and leaks.

Edit: I used just ordinary car wash nothing special mixed at 10/1

Pretty good price for foam cannon. However, please do not wash during bright sunny day. It will dry so fast and then you will have more issues with water spots and chemical drying

    • I think that has more to do with the products you're using

      • Really? There's products which don't dry in the sun?

        • It will dry so fast and then you will have more issues with water spots and chemical drying

They have got products to combat the sun

    • Sort of. I wash in sunshine about 50% of the time. You're only supposed to leave foam on for 10 minutes and rinse off. Not enough time to dry in the sun unless it's the height of summer.
If you've got a good coat of wax etc as well, the water should come off quick and not sit on the surface. But I do agree in general not to fully wash the whole car in the sun.. foam wash is okay.

Pay the $15 more and get the MJJC. You'll thank me later for this :)

Don't waste your time on crap foam cannons. They're fun to use when they work really really well! There are heaps of YouTube videos with these foam cannons, they just don't compete.

The only other comparable one on Amazon is the Dusichin, if you don't have quick connect you'll pay $15-$20 on adaptors, may as well then go the MJJC

  • Reviews on Amazon seem good, but I can't see how it will attach to any lance from major brands such as Gerni (which I have), Karcher etc unless you cut the end off the hose and use the fitting the OP has installed.
    Is there an adaptor available?

    • The chrome part unwinds and that's where you attach the adapter for your system. The one in the pic is a quick connect type

      • Agree but the adaptor costs about $17 off ebay.
        Shoulda boughta Karcha

Cheap snow cannons don’t usually froth that much

    • Not true, your product and pressure washer would have more effect on that than the cannon

      • Very true. You clearly have never used a foam lance. It all comes down to the orifice size, mesh and other components.

        • Which are all generic with a orfice of 1mm to 1.5mm generally. Look at the OP pic, that was done by a cheap cannon which give the same result of a 100$ using the same pressure washer and soap

          • @DoesntEvenMatter: The OP pic is thin.. it didn't foam. This could be due to orifice size incorrect or quality of the mesh and components in the lance.

This is foam! There is a BIG difference between a $20 canon like this and a $40 canon.

You compare the pics and see for yourself. Its meant to be thick like shaving foam.

If I put on a thick layer I could do snow angels in my driveway which would stay there for about 6 hours!

            • @[Deactivated]: I have a 20, a MJJC and a bowdens. I know the diff and soap + concentration is a big reason for the form formed then the psi and flow rate the pressure washer can produce. You can make a blanket statement that they suck when they have many mrre factors in it

              • @DoesntEvenMatter: If you have experimented with different soap combinations and ratios and pressure you would get better results but you are also compensating for it’s inefficiency.

I better comparison is try a cheap wand and an more expensive say Bowdens one using the same formula/ratio.

You may go WOW wow WoW .

  • I had gerni, yes it leaks. I use Meguiar's foam cannon. Thought it was the Cannon's problem. Now I know it's the gerni.

  • Ok so from this I have learnt about MJJC cannons and will purchase one based on recommendations. What soap do is recommended for use?

I have an also pressure washer, anyone know what fitting I should choose?

    • I'd recommend the also typo adapter. FWIW I messaged the MJJC store on Ali Express with my pressure washer and got a quick response with a link to the right model cannon.

I'm also interested in foam recommendations. Adam's Mega Foam has come up in research but not cheap over here. Have Polar Blast and Meguires Gold Class but would like to try something else when they run out.
