Shipping from $35.
Yeah, Kmart have this for $379 but out of stock. I wish Toy R Us can price match like when they do with physical stores.
How do you price match out of stock items
This set is also slated to be retire soon.
Any idea when Assembly Square is due to be retired. It's the one I want to grab and build after missing it twice in the sales earlier this year, I feel if I wait, will it get retired soon.
Definitely not retiring or else I'd buy em up at that price .
Do you have a source for that?
So hard to pay 465 when I know that Kmart could get one at 379. 😬
Factor in the cost of an M motor and AAA battery box as well. This set is heaps better motorised.
Oh man. Thanks. I think I saw a video of it motorised and had forgotten that the motor was separate. 😬
I just purchased the motor and battery pack needed to motorise it from Lego for $51.50 delivered (included $12.50 delivery fee).
Parts 8883 and 88000
Man that shipping cost is high. I understand the box is big/heavy but damn even the other retailers don't charge that much.
Shame to see ToysRUs close their physical stores to be honest, but yeah I would have thought shipping would have been cheaper than that.
Toys R Us went out of business owing creditors $90 million. The company behind the web site has nothing to do with the original Toys R Us physical stores - they just bought the business name, just like Kogan bought the Dick Smith business name.
Shipping is as costly as it is largely because that's what Australia Post charges.
Sorry, was more just a general comment. Had a cousin that was a manager at one of the stores, so was pretty crap for him and his crew to be out of a job because of the business going a** up essentially.
No different to the times we are in now with Covid and impact on the employers/employees I guess. Just sucks.
