Well that is a new name for manscaping…
Good deal price wise but you need to already have the battery and charger as they are damned expensive to buy
It appears that Ryobi is trying to market the new term 'console' for this.
Victa use the same terminology for their "skins".
My mum (not an Ozbargainer…) made the mistake of thinking one of these was a good deal, obviously the battery is different to the Ryobi spare that I gave her, ended up costing her more than a normal One+ one. Unlucky.
Are there converters out there for these batteries? I have seen guys 3D print some other types
I don't think so - this one is 36v. Theres quite a few converters for 18v.
I have the bent shaft version
It's got a lot of power but it's very loud and something you noticed after 5 mins of use.
I have a 80v Victa and it's much quieter and obviously more powerful.
At this priced it's definitely a bargain if you can get one.
Note that this is the Expand-It version of the line trimmer. Once you have the base unit you can buy other attachments to go with it (hedge trimmer, edger etc…).
I'm not sure they'll be as good as the dedicated tools but at this price you'll save a fortune vs the dedicated versions. E.g. the Expand-It edger attachment is $125 vs $279 for the dedicated 36V tool.
The Ego multi tool is probably better
Came here for shaft comments
Oxley and Browns Plains didn't have any stock. Anyone know if there is any south of the river?? Can't find an API to check stock any more…
Which bunning is this?
