Best Credit Card for Price Protection / Shopper’s Protection in 2020

Now that 28 Degree is not offering "Shopper’s Protection" what would be best card which provides price protection.

28 Degree the PDS shows price protection but on sign up page it is not advertised.

I have applied 28 Degree last week and got approved let see when I receive card what their printed PDS says.

I believe no card offers price/shopper protection now. The good-old-days are over…

The 28 degrees PDS you linked to is for existing customers. The policy is not offered to new customers.

Coles Mastercard gives price protection but only for the same shop, and for 30 days I believe.

      This is correct.

Coles Mastercard gives price protection but only for the same shop, and for 30 days I believe.

Coles Mastercard's Account Cover Plus policy is also only available to existing policy holders. Same shop, 2 years.

Perhaps OP should update title/description and ask specifically for new customers only.

Other than the above, sorry OP, I don't believe there are any cards that offer similar policies.

  • I was searching for the same and I can see Latitude Low Rate Mastercard® showing that its got price protection on the webpage.
Is anyone using this card for price protection?

The Low Rate Mastercard Price Protection is not as good as the old 28 Degrees price protection.

Low rate: With this cover, if you purchase an eligible item and then find it in-store nearby at a lower price within 30 days, Latitude will refund the difference. This is limited to $500 per item, up to a total of $1,000 per year.

28 Degrees: If you buy an item in Australia with your Latitude 28° Global Platinum Mastercard and within 12 months the item is available at a lower price in the
same retailer or any other Australian retailer, we’ll pay the difference between the purchase price and the lower price to your account. This also applies to items you buy for someone else as a gift, and through a mail/telephone order catalogue or online order. Maximum of $1,000 per item and $5,000 in any 12 month period.

Having said that, the Low Rate offer is probably the best available for new customers right now.
