  • Hope to see SB or CR will increase their cashback % so we can combine…

    • Yeah haven't bought from them in months and been buying locally as most big brands have been 50% off at chemists or in the supermarket. This works out about the same value, though without the huge wait due to postal delays. Might be tempted if there was some cashback to make it worthwile the wait.

      • iHerb has major delays, I ordered on the 10th and not even local tracking left. I'm unsure if it's even left America.

        • I had weird dramas but only because it was sent via DHL and even though I was 100% home they decided to send it to one of those drop points which was a random-ass pharmacy like 2 suburbs away.

      • The "50% off" at chemists and Colesworths are a joke! They're pretty much half of double. iHerb has much better products too (all vitamins at chemists and supermarkets are synthetic, for instance).

Never had to wait long for iHerb. Just gotta plan ahead.

    • Both shopback and cashrewards are offering 3.5% cash back at iHerb, however, I don't think you can combine iHerb coupons with shopback or cashrewards unless the coupon is on their respective approved lists here:
      https://www.shopback.com.au/iherb
      https://www.cashrewards.com.au/iherb#coupons
I don't see IHERB12 listed on either of them, so I am not expecting to be able to combine discounts on this occasion.

      • I did last sitewide sale through CR, and they tracked it.

Also, CR cashback for iHerb is 7%, not 3.5%.

If you need it asap I would look elsewhere. I ordered a product two weeks ago, and get an email a week ago saying shipments will be delayed and they will send out an update of when the order has left the warehouse. which will mean about another two week wait after that. So in my case, currently looking at a 5 week turnaounr at best.

      Thanks for the heads up

    • Is that an issue with the stock you ordered or a broad logistics issue with the company? I had something delivered last week without any delay beyond what's currently normal domestically. I was thinking of ordering more.

      • This was in the email they sent:

"Due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus(COVID-19) the shipping and logistics industry is facing unprecedented challenges, as such the delivery service you have selected for your recent order is experiencing delays. Due to these circumstances, your order with iHerb is delayed."

To make matters worse, still no tracking number on aus post which means they haven't sent it yet.

So looking like 'at the very least' a 7-week turnaround.

        • Thanks, that's interesting. Potentially warehousing issues, but that's just a guess. Was that a follow up email after you ordered? If so, it's a little bit dodgy.

          • @bxpressiv: The email came a week after my order. The order was just 2 x Protein Powders. So nothing that I'll stress over, but I'll be expecting a pretty long wait.

I order from there quite frequently and generally get what I order within the week, however my most recent order has been held up with Aus Post for the last 12 days. Not sure if it is just general Aus Post issues, as I believe they are overwhelmed right now, or something to do with my order from iHerb.

      • Definitely AusPost issues right now in Victoria, they are running far fewer distro centre staff and its been a PitA.

Especially since we can't do anything retail-wise ourselves, you have to rely on parcels and those aren't holding up properly either…

    • Whats your alt go to?

      • Chemist Warehouse. I wish I had gone there now, I was just lazy (and also saved like $5).

I made a large order on 9 Aug (large enough to have to split into two separate ones, bc it exceeded AusPost value limit), and received it a week or so later. Good enough for me.

  • I just received my order from iHerbs
Took 2 wks to arrive from USA

    • Thats not too bad, thanks for the info :)

Agreed, unless there's something different going on then shipping is pretty normal. I have had max one day delay with stuff out of the US to Australia and then we're at the mercy of the Australian logistics system for the final leg.

Hmm, unfortunately everything that I use is out of stock, and has been for the last few months….e.g. Aztec secret (both sizes), cosrx Blackhead power, my usual derma roller brand, Differin gel….

I did place an order on the 10th and it came within a few days, I must have been fortunate to miss the shipping delay.

  • Don't forget to use the code with 15% CR deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/561460 which ends tonight 27th Aug.
