Tab S6 uses Amoled screen unlike S7 which uses LCD. unless u want Tab S7+ which uses Amoled
Yeah, the Amoled is worth the wait, but the unknowable question is how much with the Tab S6 drop?
Does Australia gets exynos in tablets as well? Tab s7 plus is interesting but loses headphone jack.
I picked up a S6 from OW 2 weeks back. It had the SD855.
How to you check it which processor is it? Does it show in settings?
CPU-Z app
SD855 is tab S6 and exynos 9611 for tab s6 lite

You can get one for $389 from the EPP store with the voucher, there is currently stock.
Great if you have access to EPP, but I certainly dont.
good price, now i'm tempted to buy it :(
wish they stock other colours too apart from greyRookie question, but what is EPP?
Samsung runs an alternative online store with lower prices for students and certain partnered businesses.
i read reviews if you dont really need the pen, s5e is better than s6lite
but of course s6 is better than s5ethe tablet:
https://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-s6-lite-vs…the processor:
https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/samsung-exynos-9610-vs…My conclusion is the same. However, I could not find a good price on s5e
I got an S5e from OW a few weeks ago when it was advertised on Ozb. it was not on the website though, I called up and they had one left and put it aside for me.
Lucky you.
@nahkk: Yes and no. I barely use my old S2 Tab but a bargain's a bargain, right?
@cykezero: Ha ha. Its ozbargain so yeah. Buy first, think later.
@nahkk: Yeah I had all day to think about it but still went ahead with it. Let's blame it on COVID!
dupe
I bought it at release for $389 in the Edu store, pretty sure it's still available there. I really like the design and pen but the screen is noticeably lower quality and it lags a little bit. Perfect for writing notes but for anything else I would recommend another tablet.
i think tab s5e or s6 is worth the extra money for dex
worth extra for screen itself.
I bought one recently for my daughter who wanted to draw on the tablet.. well worth it better than buying an iPad 32GB and another $150 on top for a "pencil". I'm also using the S6 LTE and compared the two.. the S6 Lite's screen is very pale in comparison, but it's also much less.
Samsung has dropped the price to $499 on their site so use their $50 promotion that they have at the moment and pick it up for $450.
ooooooo thats tempting! I think this is the best price so far? But do I hold out for a deal on the tab s6 when they finally release the tab s7?
