How does this compare to sonos products?
I'd be cautious with Pioneer spotify enabled products. The very decent sounding XM-SMA wireless speakers had spotify support but that yanked it because of licensing fees.
Whilst the removal of features totally sucks, in practice it's no big deal because you can just stream Spotify to the speaker from another device instead.

Thanks OP. Picked one up to hook in to the Pioneer AV receiver. I've heard positive things about them but mainly from OS sources.
How do you think it performs? Hows the sound quality and volume? Really looking at getting one but cannot find many good reviews online on it that I would trust.
Sound output is very subjective to the individual - probably explains the mixed reviews on the net. Friend in the UK has one, is satisfied with it. I'm picking it up for the pioneer flareconnect more than anything. Is due to arrive tomorrow. Will try to give a sound appraisal asap for you.
