Thanks, just checked it out on YouTube and agree it looks worth a shot. Perfect bit of mindless gameplay after another day of WFH.
Played first couple of sections. It's a little rough around the edges, and takes some getting used to; but a fun and nice looking little game once you just enjoy the story and get into a good rhythm with the combat.
Just watched a few YouTube videos and then purchased. The graphic and combat still look pretty good even now in 2020 for a game released in 2014.
Looks to be the cheapest ever PC price for Ryse according to https://www.steamprices.com/au/app/302510/ryse-son-of-rome
It was $3.99 once a long time ago so in practical terms you are right (as we have no time machine yet).
If anyone's not sure, Ryse is great. Especially at this price. It's totally on rails and pretty short but it's good fun.
