For everyone that's eyeing off the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro, this is probably the better listening experience overall. Where it loses a tiny bit with soundstage and sub-bass, it wins in resolution and sound signature, particularly in the mids and treble. The Beyer are a tad v-shaped, and completely unforgiving of mastering mistakes (which makes them great for monitoring, solid for gaming, but regularly bad for music and movies).

If you want to wait a bit longer for AU/US Prime Day, it seems these will be another $15 cheaper. If you can't wait: enjoy!
