          Practically every second house in high end homes run a built in Liebherr.

          It's that or a Miele.

          (It's the Gaggenau of fridges.)

          (Gaggenau are renowned for their ovens.)

            The difference is you can get a heavily discounted Liebherr but Miele's are pretty much close to RRP

            Yes, I own a pidgeon pair of Liebherr's and there's nothing quite like it in terms of build/quality (and specifcally the size I was after)

      Liebherr is distributed by Andi-co Australia www.andico.com.au. It is actually a very well known premium fridge brand.

      We moved into our new place in 2004 and our first fridge was a Liebherr. Not sure what you mean by “established”.

          I don’t think you’re their target market. People pay more for suitable design and superior finish/quality.

          I did some work with the distributor for this (and similar) brands. Got to see a lot up close and understand them.

      This is a europeon design fridge. Only 63cm deep which does not stickout like others.

          Ours was shallow because it was designed as a built in unit. You need to have area around the fridge to stop it overheating.

    Damn seems like their other fridges have similar RRPs. Is there something I'm missing that justifies the expense? I mean, considering brands like Samsung have larger fridges with more interesting features.

    A black fridge without a freezer to match?? Seems useless. If you had both it would be good.

    Although you'd probably need to guarantee that you'd take both back if one couldn't be repaired.. as you can't be left with one black unit that no longer matches anything.
