For everyone that's eyeing off the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro, this is probably the better listening experience overall. Where it loses a tiny bit with soundstage and sub-bass, it wins in resolution and sound signature, particularly in the mids and treble. The Beyer are a tad v-shaped, and completely unforgiving of mastering mistakes (which makes them great for monitoring, solid for gaming, but regularly bad for music and movies).
For those who are happy to wait, this will probably be discounted for US or AU Prime Day sales, if not then on a deal in November.
